This foreman at Stone Pacific was very knowledgeable and level-headed. His thoughts were: Carmanah and Walbran parks contained enough local productive old growth. We can't shift to a second-growth industry overnight. If the blockade movement wanted to be 'pro-old-growth and not 'anti-logger' we need to let them work when they aren't building roads into old growth. We should allow road crews to finish creating drainage to mitigate damage to stream beds.
